Guest mode
Without an account, cases and analytics events stay in your browser (localStorage). There is no bank account linking. You can delete a case from the plan page with one click.
Optional accounts
If you create an account, we collect your email address so you can log in. When you choose Save to your account, your case answers and recovery plan sync to our cloud database (Firebase) under your user ID so you can reopen them on another device. We still never ask for bank passwords, card numbers, or CVVs. You can delete a saved case from the plan page or from My cases.
Money Bucket family
Get My Money Back is part of Money Bucket— personal finance help for pay, budgeting, debt, and wealth. This tool is completely free. We do not charge for recovery plans, sell your case data, or show ads based on financial trouble.
